On Sunday 1st June we provided a full PA System along with Event Production for the Fashion Show at the York Barbican Wedding Fayre.
The York Barbican Wedding Fayre is one of the biggest in York and is arranged twice a year by Sheryl from Fulford Flowers. She originally approached Club Class Entertainment last year to provide some Sound & Lighting Production for the Fashion Show and once again she invited us back this year.
It was an early start for the team who were on site setting up the PA System and Uplighting from 9am ready for a 1pm start. We setup a pair of our 1000w QSC Speakers, Moving Head Lights, Black Starcloth and LED Uplighting on the Barbican’s impressive stage. As well as providing all the equipment we were in charge of hosting the Fashion Show and playing the music for the catwalk.
The whole show had been choreographed by Kelly Clarey, the Director of the Patricia Veale School of Dance and the Hair & Makeup had been styled by Fresh Hair & Beauty.
First to take to the catwalk was a stunning collection of Bridal Wear from Brides of York who were showcasing some designs that have never been seen outside of London. There was some excellent Groomswear courtesy of York Hire Wear, a family run business from York that has been established for over 40 years. The hats and fascinators were provided by Simply Devine Hats from Tadcaster and the footwear came from Hobbs.
